About the property

Chalet Zen places a traditional private chalet close to Zermatt's Matterhorn Express. Its four bedrooms suit eight adults, with two additional bunk beds available for children. A private outdoor hot tub, sauna and Matterhorn outlook make it a comfortable retreat for a family ski holiday.

The living spaces favour the character of an established mountain home, with timber beams, a fireplace and warm furnishings. A separate dining area provides room for the group to eat together, while balconies and a terrace offer outdoor seating. A bar area and treatment room add further options for quiet evenings after the slopes.

Two bedrooms occupy each of the upper accommodation floors. Double and twin configurations are available in selected rooms, and every bedroom has a bathroom. One double also contains the two children's bunks. The layout keeps the advertised ten-person maximum clear without presenting the bunks as another separate bedroom.

A lift, laundry facilities and heated boot storage support everyday convenience. Catered, breakfast and self-catered packages are advertised, each with its own service inclusions. The Matterhorn Express is approximately 100 metres away, with the Blatten ski return ending close by when open. Bahnhofstrasse is around seven minutes on foot, and a bus stop across the road provides access to other lift areas. The combination works well for guests who value a short journey to the mountain.

Location & skiing

Approximately 100 metres from Matterhorn Express and the end of the Blatten piste when open. Upper Bahnhofstrasse about seven minutes walking. Bus stop across the road. Ski return is nearby, not directly through the chalet door.
