About the property

Chalet Whymper offers a Megève base near the Rochebrune gondola, with a private swimming pool and space for an extended family. Across 370 square metres, six bedrooms accommodate ten adults and two children.

The main living room occupies the upper floor, combining a high timber ceiling, sofas and a wood-burning fireplace. Large windows brighten the space and frame the mountain setting. The dining table and open kitchen sit alongside the lounge, making it easy to gather for breakfast before skiing or an evening meal afterwards.

The wellness area includes an indoor pool, sauna and fitness equipment, with loungers for quieter moments between activities. Terraces and balconies provide places to enjoy the setting. An internal lift serves the chalet's floors, although individual accessibility needs should be checked before booking.

The master suite occupies the upper level and includes a balcony and dressing area. Four further double bedrooms and a children's bunk room are arranged on the ground floor. Three of those doubles have private en-suite facilities; the remaining double and bunk room share a bathroom. This distinction is useful when deciding how best to accommodate the group.

The self-catered rental includes daily housekeeping and a midweek linen change. Concierge assistance is available through an optional package, with a chef, driver and other arrangements charged separately. Heated boot storage, garage parking and laundry facilities add convenience. The Rochebrune lift and Capucine piste are approximately 270 metres away, while Megève's village centre is reached in around ten minutes on foot depending on conditions.
