About the property

Chalet Rive Gauche is a five-bedroom catered chalet beside the Isère river in Le Fornet, Val d’Isère. Four adult bedrooms and a two-place bunk room provide accommodation for ten, with a private counter-current pool and hammam.

A double-height upper living floor pairs reclaimed timber and exposed stone with a fireplace lounge. A dining table for ten and a smaller four-place table sit beside a separate kitchen. The terrace looks along the river towards the mountains and old village bridge.

The private indoor pool has a counter-current system, with a hammam nearby. A heated ski room and one garage parking place are provided. The bunk room has no shower of its own, so its guests need to share another bedroom's shower facilities.

First floor: three double/twins with en-suite shower rooms and one two-place bunk room without its own shower, sharing another bedroom's facilities. Third floor: fixed double with en-suite shower room. Four doubles plus two bunk places, ten maximum. Upper living/dining spaces, separate kitchen, fireplace, river terrace, private pool/counter-current system, hammam, garage and heated ski room. Neighbouring Chalet Vieux Pont excluded.

The catered package includes daily breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner on five evenings, selected wines and house drinks, and a resort driver advertised from 08:00 to 22:00. Confirm menus and driver terms in the quotation. Premium drinks, additional services and transfers cost extra.

Location & skiing

In Le Fornet beside the river, around one hundred metres from the Fornet lift at the foot of the Mangard piste. The source describes a conditions-dependent ski-back traverse for intermediate and advanced skiers. Central Val d’Isère is around five minutes by car.
