About the property

Chalet R Family combines comfortable contemporary alpine design with an elevated position above Megève. Its 280 square metres accommodate ten adults and four children across six bedrooms, offering a spacious setting for family ski holidays.

The upper living floor sits beneath a high timber ceiling, with skylights and broad windows drawing daylight across the room. Grey seating surrounds a central fireplace, while a long dining table and open kitchen keep meals closely connected to the lounge.

Two kitchen islands provide generous preparation space and informal seating. Large doors open onto the surrounding balcony, where village and mountain views create a distinctive backdrop. The terrace connects with an outdoor heated swimming pool, providing another place to unwind.

Inside, a sauna offers further relaxation after skiing. A cinema room creates space for film evenings, while table football and a cross trainer provide additional entertainment and exercise options without leaving the chalet.

The principal double bedroom occupies the upper floor and has a shower room with a separate toilet. Four further doubles are downstairs, several with terrace access, alongside a children's bunk room sleeping four. Bathing facilities are individual or nearby, but several lower bedrooms share toilets, so groups should review the arrangement carefully.

Central Megève is approximately fifteen minutes away on foot downhill. Chamois and Mont d'Arbois ski facilities are around four minutes by car. Garage parking, boot warmers and laundry facilities support winter stays. Self-catered packages include midweek housekeeping and linen changes. Catering, transport and additional concierge arrangements are available separately.

Location & skiing

Elevated position between Mont d'Arbois and Megève centre. Centre around fifteen minutes walking downhill. Chamois, Rocharbois and Mont d'Arbois lifts around four minutes by car/15–20 minutes walking; Jaillet around five minutes driving.
