About the property

Chalet Impala sits in Megève's Rochebrune area, close to the slopes and within walking distance of the village. Behind its traditional timber exterior, the 550 square metre home combines family accommodation with a private pool and cinema.

The main living room rises beneath exposed beams, with seating arranged around a wood fire. Large windows bring mountain light into the room, while balconies extend the space outdoors. A mezzanine provides a quieter corner for reading or chess, and an office beside the library supports occasional work.

An equipped kitchen serves a long dining table for shared meals. Outside, the terrace and garden offer space to relax together, with a children's play area adding another option for families.

The indoor pool includes massage jets, with a gym for exercise away from the slopes. A dedicated cinema provides an evening alternative to the lounge. Heated boot storage and garage parking help organise ski days.

Seven bedrooms include a principal suite opening onto a terrace, further double rooms, one flexible double or twin and a children's dormitory. Each has private bathing facilities. The recommended group limit is twelve adults and four children, with the children's sleeping arrangement agreed before booking.

The piste is around one hundred metres away on foot and Grand Champs lift approximately one hundred and fifty metres away. Megève centre is roughly a ten to fifteen minute walk. Self-catered stays include daily housekeeping and a midweek linen change, while a chef, breakfast service or driver can be arranged at additional cost.

Garden level: flexible double/twin with en-suite shower; two doubles with en-suite showers; children's dormitory with its own shower. Recommended maximum twelve adults and four children; any additional pullout space requires confirmation. Loft lounge/fireplace, dining/kitchen, mezzanine chess/reading, library/office, terrace/garden with play space, indoor pool with massage jets, gym, cinema, garage, laundry and heated ski storage.

Location & skiing

Rochebrune, Megève. Approximately 100m walk to the piste and 150m to Grand Champs lift. Centre around 750m, ten to fifteen minutes on foot or three minutes by car. Walking access to skiing, rather than a chalet-door ski-in/out claim.
