About the property

Chalet Dent de Lion looks out over Verbier from the elevated Sonalon neighbourhood. Its four-storey layout combines substantial timber interiors, stone fireplaces and generous terraces, creating a mountain home for a group of up to fourteen. Six bedrooms include a dedicated children's bunk room.

The main lounge is arranged for long evenings beside the fire, with dining and cooking spaces close enough to keep the group together. Large windows open the room towards the valley, while the terrace provides a particularly appealing setting for an early evening drink. A second lounge offers a separate television area, a bar and table football.

A sauna adds an uncomplicated way to unwind after skiing. The top-floor master suite has its own fireplace, balcony and bathroom with a spa bathtub and shower. The remaining bedrooms occupy the lower levels, with individual bathrooms and a mixture of double, twin and bunk arrangements.

The chalet can be booked with staff or on a self-catered basis. Under the staffed arrangement, food and drinks are charged separately; they should not be assumed to form part of the rental rate. Savoleyres is approximately two minutes away by car, while the central village and Médran are farther downhill. Experienced skiers may return off piste when conditions permit. A ski room and one garage space complete a practical base for exploring Verbier.

Top floor: master double, fireplace, balcony, dressing area and bathroom with spa bath and rainfall shower. Middle bedroom floor: two doubles and a four-person children's bunk room, each with its own bathroom. Lower bedroom floor: one double/twin with shower room and sauna access, plus a double with terrace and shower room. Main living/dining/kitchen, separate TV lounge with bar and table football, terraces, ski room and one garage space.

Sonalon above Verbier. Savoleyres about two minutes by car; Place Centrale about five minutes; Médran about seven minutes. Off-piste return only for advanced skiers when snow permits.
