About the property

Chalet Castor is an eight-person mountain home within Zermatt's Les Perles collection. Its elevated position brings views across the resort, while a private outdoor hot tub creates a welcoming place to return after skiing. Four bedrooms occupy the upper floors above a sociable living area.

The main room combines a lounge, dining table and fitted kitchen. Pale timber ceilings, a stone fireplace and red accents give it a warm, informal character. Doors open towards the terrace, connecting evenings indoors with the mountain surroundings. The layout suits friends or a family who want a manageable private chalet rather than a larger estate.

All four bedrooms have private bathroom facilities. Two rooms can be prepared as doubles or twins, while the remaining rooms are advertised as doubles in the primary room schedule. Three bedrooms have balconies. Bed arrangements should be confirmed for the particular group rather than assumed from the general collection description.

Catered, breakfast and self-catered stays are offered, with the included services changing between packages. Ski storage with boot warmers and laundry facilities are available. Access involves a tunnel and lift followed by an outdoor walk of approximately 200 metres, an important detail when planning arrivals with luggage. The tunnel entrance is near the Matterhorn Express side of the village. Castor is a separate rental from the neighbouring Les Perles chalets.

Les Perles chalet group above Zermatt. Access through tunnel and lift, followed by approximately 200 metres walking to the chalet. Tunnel entrance near the Matterhorn Express end of the ski runs and village centre. Map identifies the chalet group, not an arrival entrance.
