About the property

Chalet Black Wood offers an intimate mountain base in Les Bois, Chamonix. Three bedrooms accommodate four adults and four children, with a private garden and views towards Mont Blanc. The layout suits a family looking for a smaller standalone chalet with character and a separate wellness retreat.

The main living area sits beneath exposed timber beams and combines lounge seating, a dining table and a fitted kitchen. A fireplace provides the evening focal point, while doors open onto a south-facing balcony. Walking trails and cross-country routes can be accessed from the surrounding garden when conditions permit.

Two double or twin rooms and a four-person children's bunk room occupy the ground floor. One bedroom has its own bathroom; the other double or twin and the bunk room share a shower, and WCs are separate or shared. The arrangement is not equivalent to three self-contained suites.

A traditional mazot in the garden houses the indoor hot tub and sauna, providing a private place to unwind away from the main chalet. The rental is self catered. Concierge support is supplied only with an opted-in package, and additional services are charged separately. A two-car garage, heated boot storage and laundry facilities are provided. Flégère is around four minutes away by car and central Chamonix approximately seven; a bus stop is roughly 450 metres away.
