About the property

Chalet Alta brings architecture and extensive wellness facilities to the quiet hamlet of Le Lavancher. Set within the Chamonix Valley, this 480 square metre chalet accommodates ten adults and four children in five double bedrooms and a separate four-person bunk room.

The main living space combines dark timber, stone and large windows, with a central fireplace creating a natural gathering point. Sofas and a generous dining table give the group room to relax and share meals. The kitchen is separate, allowing meal preparation to take place away from the lounge.

The swimming pool is the chalet’s focal point. Glass doors can open its enclosure towards the outdoors, allowing swimmers to enjoy the mountain setting. Downstairs, a sauna and steam room provide quieter wellness spaces, alongside gym facilities and a TV snug for evenings away from the main living room.

Four double bedrooms occupy the upper floor, each with balcony access. Another double bedroom opens to a terrace on the main floor, while the children’s bunk room lies downstairs beside the TV lounge. Every bedroom has ensuite facilities, making the arrangement practical for families travelling together.

Grands Montets and Flégère are approximately six and seven minutes away by car, with central Chamonix around ten minutes away. A garage, heated boot storage and laundry facilities support winter stays. Catered holidays include chef service, an open drinks bar and daily housekeeping; driving services are arranged separately. Six ensuite bedrooms for ten adults and four children. Lower ground: four-person children’s bunk room with shower room beside TV snug. Main floor: double bedroom with terrace and bath/shower room. Upper floor: four double bedrooms, two with shared balcony and two with private balconies; two bath/shower rooms and two shower rooms. Indoor pool with opening glass enclosure, sauna, hammam, gym, TV snug, garage and heated boot storage.

Location & skiing

Le Lavancher, Chamonix Valley. Approximately six minutes by car to Grands Montets, seven to Flégère and ten to Chamonix centre. Woodland ski return is not represented as ordinary ski-in/ski-out.

Winter 2026/27 catered seven-night prices include €24,700 for 28 November or 5 December 2026 and €48,400 for 26 December. Checked 23 October 2026. Chef, open drinks bar and daily housekeeping included; driver services cost extra. Self-catered packages quoted separately. Maximum ten adults plus four children.
