About the property

Chalet Heidi is a self-contained three-bedroom apartment occupying a floor of a restored timber chalet in central Zermatt. It accommodates six guests and offers a distinctive alternative to a contemporary residence, with dark wood, exposed beams and stone surfaces giving the interiors a traditional mountain character.

The main living area brings a comfortable lounge and fireplace together with a dining space. A glass-topped table made from a traditional farming implement adds an individual detail, while the fitted kitchen provides the conveniences needed for a self-catered stay. A serving hatch connects the cooking and dining spaces.

South-facing balconies open from the living accommodation and selected bedrooms, providing outdoor space for a morning coffee or a quiet afternoon. The three bedrooms can be prepared as doubles or twins. Two have en-suite facilities, while the third uses a private shower room rather than an en-suite. The arrangement works well for a family or three couples happy with that distinction.

The rental is offered self catered, with an arrival and departure electric taxi transfer within Zermatt under the published terms. Additional services can be requested separately. The ski room and boot warmers are shared with the building. Bahnhofstrasse is close by, and the principal lift areas are approximately seven minutes away on foot in either direction, making restaurants, shops and skiing convenient from one compact base.

Entire first-floor apartment within a chalet building. Three double/twins: one with balcony and bathroom; one with en-suite shower; one with separate private shower room. Six guests maximum. Lounge/fireplace, dining, kitchen and south-facing balconies. Shared building ski room with boot warmers. Not exclusive use of the whole building.

Location & skiing

Central Zermatt, roughly one minute walking from upper Bahnhofstrasse. Matterhorn Express, Sunnegga and Gornergrat stations approximately seven minutes on foot in their respective directions; allow for winter conditions.
