About the property

Chalet Mathilda provides a comfortable private base in Val d'Isère's Fermes de Val area. Its 350 square metres accommodate twelve guests across six bedrooms, with an indoor swimming pool and hammam complementing the traditional alpine interiors.

The principal living room sits beneath a high timber ceiling, where a stone fireplace anchors the seating area. Broad windows bring daylight across the open space, while exposed beams and natural materials establish a warm mountain atmosphere.

An oval dining table occupies the adjoining area, creating a convivial setting for meals together. A sun terrace extends the communal rooms outdoors in suitable weather, with views towards the surrounding peaks and village setting.

The ground floor wellness area houses a heated indoor swimming pool with a counter-current system. Arched windows and timber detailing continue the chalet's architectural character, while a hammam provides another place to relax after skiing.

Five bedrooms have bathrooms, with one on the ground floor and four on the first floor. A sixth double or twin occupies the mezzanine level and has an individual shower room. Flexible bed arrangements allow the accommodation to suit different groups.

Bellevarde's ski facilities are approximately 350 metres away, while central Val d'Isère is around ten minutes walking. Garage parking, laundry facilities, ski storage and boot warmers support winter stays. The advertised breakfast package includes afternoon tea, daily housekeeping, a midweek linen change and daytime resort driving. Full catering can be quoted separately, with alcoholic drinks charged additionally. Ski equipment, lessons, transfers and childcare remain optional extras.
