About the property

Chalet La Maille offers a private retreat above Megève, set within secluded grounds in the Ormaret neighbourhood of Demi-Quartier. Six bedrooms accommodate ten adults and five children, combining generous family space with a collection of wellness and entertainment facilities.

Timber interiors, stone fireplaces and artwork give the chalet a character of its own. Several lounges allow the group to spend time together or find a quieter corner, while the dining room provides a welcoming setting for meals prepared by the private chef. Large windows and terraces open towards the surrounding mountains, with views extending to Mont Blanc.

The indoor swimming pool forms the centrepiece of the spa, framed by a vaulted timber structure and comfortable relaxation areas. A hammam, treatment room, hair salon and well equipped gym complete the wellness offering. A separate outdoor pool is available during summer only.

Five double bedrooms each have ensuite shower rooms and direct outdoor access. The children’s dormitory sleeps five and includes its own bathroom. A dedicated cinema provides another setting for evenings indoors, while the gardens offer space for quieter outdoor moments between mountain activities.

The Princesse gondola is approximately five minutes away by car, and central Megève around six minutes. Practical facilities include heated ski storage, laundry equipment and extensive parking. The staffed arrangement includes a chef, butler and housekeeping team, with food and drinks charged separately. Level -1: master double bedroom with private lounge/fireplace, dressing area, office, terrace and ensuite shower room, plus three double bedrooms with terrace access and ensuite shower rooms. Level 1: one double bedroom with balcony and ensuite shower room; one five-person children’s dormitory with balcony and ensuite bath/shower room. Indoor pool, hammam, gym and cinema. Outdoor pool summer-only. A separate staff chalet is not included in guest bedroom capacity.

Location & skiing

Ormaret, Demi-Quartier, above Megève. Approximately five minutes by car to the Princesse gondola and six minutes to Megève centre. Not represented as ski-in/ski-out.
